Once again, there are three components:
- Goals by Period – broken down by home and on the road as well as time during periods
- Assists breakdown at even strength, on the power play and shorthanded
- Assists and goals breakdown between players.
The breakdown is the same as per the previous post:
The Assists breakdown features two separate components, as broken down below in this example featuring Ryan Getzlaf.
Points breakdown for Ryan Getzlaf spread among Anaheim Ducks teammates.
Getlaf is the main player being analyzed, with a listing of players he skated with throughout the season. We will only focus on Corey Perry in this instance, and the chart reads as follows.
Perry scored 12 even strength goals to which Getzlaf registered an assist, with eight being a first assist (column AB1) on the score sheet and four as second assists (column AB2).
On the power play, Perry had 9 goals in which Getzlaf earned an assist, five 1st assists (AB1) and four 2nd assists (AB2).
Perry, earned four assists on seven of Ryan Getzlaf’s even strength goals and three power play assists on Getlafs’s four power play goals.
